Unitis Contractor Supplies is currently hiring a Counter Sales role for our Buena Park location and is looking for someone who would enjoy working with a team of professionals within the construction industry. And our #1 goal is to be the supplier our customers love coming to most!The Counter Sales position will make an impact by assisting customers both in person in the Buena Park showroom, and by phone, while striving to achieve company goals as a team. The primary focus of the Counter Sales role is to provide an excellent customer service experience, as well as support the team at the Buena Park branch. This part-time position works on-site, Monday-Friday, from 11am-4:15pm.How you will make an impact:Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, responding to questions, and creating customer engagement with merchandiseHelp grow the bottom line by processing orders in person and by phone, and recommending related products to customersServe our customers by being knowledgeable about our products, promotions, and offeringsMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal regulationsSupport the branch, including assisting with the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storageOther duties, as assignedPerks & BenefitsA competitive base salaryProfit-based bonus programsRequirements: To qualify for this role, you must have:A GED or high school diploma is required1+ years of experience in Customer Service is required1+ years of operating a forklift and/or small industrial vehicles is preferred, but not requiredProficient in Microsoft Office and ExcelBilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not requiredTo be successful in this role, you must:Provide top-notch service and serve others firstBe adaptable and flexible, adjusting how you perform business to meet client and company needs and standardsHave personal accountability and work with integrityEndeavor to persevere by relentlessly improving your performance and skillsetBe excellent with communication using a variety of platformsBe able to develop and maintain productive relationships and work as a team to meet goals and expectationsBe able to maintain a calm manner with customers and fellow team membersBe able to multitask and balance varying job dutiesBe capable of managing time to meet company deadlinesBe able to work safely and independentlyUnitis Contractor Supply is an equal opportunity employer.
