About the roleWe are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our systems infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems and networks are efficient, secure, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's systems infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and networking components.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other IT staff to ensure smooth integration of applications and services.
• Implement security best practices and protocols to safeguard company data and systems.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements.
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT professionals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role in IT.
  • Strong knowledge of system and network administration, including Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and security principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
