How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Business Process Improvement (BPI) Trainer role is responsible for developing competency and skill sets in individuals to perform their job effectively and efficiently. The Trainer facilitates, maintains, and manages material for training including maintaining existing training materials and developing new materials as required. The Trainer plays a pivotal role from the start to end of the training, with the onboarding of each new user, and/or the implementation of new features where training and training materials are required. Incumbents should be able to perform training to a variety of associates including: New hire, acquisition, and retraining for associates needing to expand their knowledge on the systems

Target Annual Salary $80,000 - $105,000
ES S ENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage training requirements
  • Plan and lead new user and refresher trainings in SAP, PROs, Google, and KITE
  • Delivery classroom and online/virtual training to associates
  • Prepare and facilitate scheduled lab sessions to support systems training virtual and/or in person
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop enhanced and/or specialized SAP Training
  • Manage classroom attendance and administer training course assessments through Airgas University
  • Conduct Google/KITE Training
  • Conduct PROs and SAP Pricing Training
  • Conduct ESA-Equipment Sales Agreement Training
  • Lead and/or support Continuous Improvement Training
  • Collaborate with Divisional Compliance & Controls to conduct Airgas Operating Standards Training
  • Acquisition / Branch Closure/Merger / Scratch Start training and support
  • Support various Business Process Improvement Initiatives
  • Analyze Airgas Customer Effort Score and identify root causes and long term solutions
  • Support regional and divisions team in customer churn improvement through training and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with business team members in a positive and constructive manner
  • Site Visits

    Are you a MATCH?

    Required Education:
    • College Degree in Training and Development preferred or equivalent business background
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
      • Six Sigma Certified Yellow Belt preferred


        Required Length & Type of Experience:
        • Five+ years of leadership experience in retail or plant operations
        • Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience providing training to SAP end users
        • Advanced knowledge of Airgas Operating Standards and Branch Audits
        • Advanced SAP knowledge ie: SAP Superuser
        • Two (2) years' previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position
        • Multi-industry knowledge and exposure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with experience in order to cash, retail or operations leadership role.
        • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
        • Background in Lean Six Sigma methodology
