• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• BLS - Basic Life Support required for all clinical starts
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required as applicable
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for NICU and L&D
• Tech Cert Verification - National as applicable
• State License 1 Verification within 14 days prior to start
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• NIH Stroke Certification required as applicable
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring required for L&D RNs

  • May float to Med-Surg
  • Accepts 1st time travelers!
  • Avg Census: 36
  • Rooms/Beds 36
  • Ratios - 1:4
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • No Call requirement
  • Scrubs: Royal Blue
  • Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics
  • Must be able to work in Telemetry setting
  • Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes
    • Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
    • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring
    • Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery
    • Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
    • Required Medication skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
    • Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management
      • Schedule Information
      • No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
      • 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved
      • Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Must be able to work in Telemetry setting. Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes.

          • Emergency Contact Form required
          • Fire Card must specify Los Angeles and needs to have an expiration date. This is an LA City requirement
          • RTO must be on the submittal
          • NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS RTO MAX
