We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from proposal development to construction completion. • Project Management: Oversee all project phases, including planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design quality, client communications, bidding, and construction administration. Ensure all activities are directed, controlled, and monitored effectively.
• Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary technical and engineering teams, understanding architecture, construction, landscaping, commissioning, and multiple engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
• Financial Oversight: Perform budget calculations, financial modeling, and prepare detailed drawings, reports, and specifications for projects over $10M.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot design issues and compliance challenges, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and resolve disputes.
• Client and Team Communication: Prepare proposals, construction estimates, meeting agendas, reports, and punch lists. Lead construction meetings and regulatory negotiations, ensuring code and regulatory compliance.
• Document Review: Review construction-related documents, including bids, submittals, and RFIs, to ensure project accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to foster business growth.
• Mentorship and Training: Provide direction, mentorship, and assistance with time management and prioritization to other PMs, engineers, and staff. Arrange and lead internal training sessions.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the design and construction process to ensure project success and client satisfaction.Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of direct Project Management experience, with a proven track record of managing major and long-term projects.
  • Certification: California Professional Engineering Certificate (preferred) or PMP (preferred).
  • Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player. Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to be responsive and effectively interface with clients on time-critical tasks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Revit is preferred.Benefits:
